Which player should I use?
Whichever you prefer - the three major media players are all supported. For convenience, use Windows Media Player if you have a PC and Quicktime if you have a Mac. We favour Quicktime as It's the only one of the three that, in our experience, performs consistently and indentically using Browsers on both Windows and Mac computers.

The video is very small. Can I make it bigger?
If you are using Internet Explorer it may be set to play the video in a 'media bar' rather than in the player itself. You can resize the media bar window by dragging but our recommendation would be to change the browser preferences as follows:
Click the 'Media' button on the toolbar to display the bar. Click 'Media options' and then 'settings'. Untick the 'Play web media in the bar' option. Video clips will now be launched separately in the appropriate player.

I'm still having trouble viewing the videos. What should I do now?
Make sure you have the latest version of the media player you are using. You will need Quicktime version 6 or later, Windows Media Player version 7 or later and Real Player 8 or later. Each of the icons in the table links to the corresponding download page so that you can install the latest version if needed. Internet Explorer and Netscape are both required to be version 6 or later.

Why don't you use streaming, that way I don't have to wait to see the videos?
Streaming video over anything but a broadband connection results in a very poor viewing experience. Even using an ISDN line, streamed video can display as little as 1 frame per second - more of a slide show than a movie!
All of our video clips are optimised to download and play in less than 2 minutes (broadband clips will play in real time), resulting in a more meaningful, 'moving' audio/visual experience, with only a minimal wait.
